Heading into Sunday’s game the Los Angeles Dodgers had lost five consecutive games to the San Francisco Giants. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly and his players had been peppered with questions as to why the team was unable to beat their longtime rival and if there was reason to believe change was ahead.

Multiple Dodgers maintained there wasn’t any added frustration in losing to the Giants and Yasmani Grandal voiced his belief the team’s line drives would soon start falling. Such was the case Sunday as the Dodgers teed off against Tim Lincecum, knocking the Giants starter out of the game after 1.1 innings.

Lincecum allowed five earned runs on seven hits, and perhaps found some solace in watching the Dodgers also have success against Yusmeiro Petit. The Dodgers’ 10-2 win not only snapped their losing streak, but also lifted spirits ahead of a flight to Chicago, where they’ll begin a four-game series with the Cubs on Monday.

Using the increasingly popular app Dubsmash, Kiké Hernandez, Joc Pederson and Justin Turner channeled their inner minion, a now infamous movie character(s), to create a quick video complete with Hernandez donning a banana costume:
