Dodgers vs. Reds: Bolsinger Wins as Offense Wakes Up
The Dodgers offense has been spotty lately and with Mike Bolsinger getting a quick call back up after Chin-Hui Tsao went down with injury, the Dodgers were hoping to build on their 2 game winning streak.
Bolsinger pitched 5 2/3 innings and showed the fans a much stronger outing than last week’s game versus the Angels. Adam Duvall avenged his embarassing curveball helmet loss with a 2 run homerun in the 4th inning, which was really Bolsinger’s only mistake of the game.
The bullpen did not disappoint and were able to help ruin the major league debut of Red’s pitcher, Daniel Wright, by beating the Reds 8-2.
Of course, there was some drama that involved Yasiel Puig, but it seems that he knows what he did wrong after being pulled from the game and his talk with manager Dave Roberts.
