Hairston to DL; Dodgers Promote Sellers

In an expected move, the Dodgers released a statement just minutes ago about a roster move:

The Los Angeles Dodgers today placed infielder/outfielder Jerry Hairston Jr. on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain (retroactive to May 7) and recalled infielder Justin Sellers from Triple-A Albuquerque. Hairston was batting .315 with three doubles, one triple, a home run and four RBI in 19 games with Los Angeles.

Sellers, who was optioned to Albuquerque last Friday to make room on the active roster for Bobby Abreu, went 2-for-7 with a double and an RBI in two games with the Isotopes, last playing on Wednesday at Tacoma. Sellers is batting .150 with three runs scored and two doubles in 10 games with Los Angeles and has made starts at second base (1), third base (1) and shortstop (4) this season.

Sellers was able to see more playing time while with the Isotopes, but duty called, and here he is to answer. What role could we see him play? Presumably he will get more at-bats at third if Juan Uribe continues to slump.
