Hanley Ramirez Hits Home Run Over Left Field Pavilion (VIDEO)

[new_royalslider id=”5″] Prior to Tuesday’s game, the Los Angeles Dodgers had reason to feel loose. They were riding a four-game winning streak and received plenty of production from Carl Crawford and Hanley Ramirez in Monday’s win.

Ramirez’s season has been filled with injuries and frustration as the shortstop’s been unable to get in any sort of rhythm at the plate. Although not every single was hard-hit, Ramirez went 4-for-5 with two RBIs Monday.

During batting practice Tuesday, Ramirez unloaded on a pitch and sent it sailing over the left field pavilion at Dodger Stadium. Yasiel Puig celebrated with Ramirez, then proceeded to do the same.

Unfortunately for the Dodgers, neither Puig or Ramirez were able to carry over their batting practice fireworks into the game as they combined to go 1-for-8 with one strikeout. This season, Ramirez is hitting .267 with 13 home runs and 65 RBIs.
