Maeda’s Season High Strike-Outs, Dodgers Fall to Rockies 1-0

After a 4-3 win on June 6, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost 1-0 to the Colorado Rockies on June 7, ultimately losing the series with two losses and one win.

The game moved quickly through the first six innings, as Kenta Maeda pitched a season high nine strike-outs against the Rockies, but there was no score on the board until the top of the seventh inning.

The Dodgers had a potential grand slam lined up for them with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth. Fans frustratedly tweeted when the Grand Slam was wasted as Justin Turner grounded out in his attempt to hit first base.

  1. This offense just flat out sucks. Sitting your best hitters down against a mediocre pitcher makes no sense at all. Roberts has made out 49 different lineups in 59 games, This is borderline ridiculous. DM wasn’t that bad…….They are 4 back of SF heading to SF. They had better hit there or they will leave 7 games back
