Matt Kemp Misplays Fly Ball, Then Makes Juggling Catch (VIDEO)

[new_royalslider id=”327″] The Los Angeles Dodgers won three of the four games against the Chicago Cubs and while they claimed another series win, it certainly wasn’t easy.

Windy conditions at Wrigley Field both aided the Dodgers and made protecting their leads more difficult than usual. Matt Kemp was among the beneficiaries of the wind as he hit a blistering .412 (7-for-17) with two home runs and eight RBIs.

Kemp finished 4-for-5 in Sunday’s win and drove in half of the Dodgers’ eight runs. While he contributed with his bat, Kemp found himself in the spotlight on a routine fly ball that was taken under the influence of the wind.

With the Dodgers holding a 7-4 lead and Chris Perez on the mound in the seventh, Javier Baez hit a fly ball to right field that Kemp started back on before racing forward to make the catch. As Kemp went to make the catch, the ball hit off his glove, forcing the right fielder to quickly make a second (this time successful) attempt at catching the ball.
