Clayton Kershaw added to his illustrious career Wednesday with his first career no-hitter. On top of not allowing a single Colorado hit, the two-time Cy Young winner also set a new career high in strikeouts with 15.

Kershaw used 107 pitches to record all 27 outs and the only base runner came as a result of a throwing error by Hanley Ramirez in the seventh inning.

Throughout his first few starts this season, Kershaw struggled to completely regain his form, which included a stint on the disabled list due to inflammation in his shoulder blade.

As Wednesday’s performance showed, Kershaw appears to be over his health issues. In addition, he has lowered his ERA from 3.32 to 2.52.

The no-hitter was the second on the season for the Dodgers. Less than a month ago, Josh Beckett threw one on the road against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Aided with the starting pitchers regaining form, the Dodgers find themselves trailing the San Francisco Giants by four games.
