Photos: Dodgers Nation On The Field For Ceremonial First Pitch

In conjunction with our affiliate LakersNation.com, we here at Dodgers Nation were on-hand for the ceremonial first pitch thrown out by Los Angeles Lakers’ Jordan Farmar and Nick Young as part of the UCLA/USC Rivalry Night.

The Laker duo was all smiles and laughs as they prepared for their first pitch in front of the Dodger Stadium crown. They took place in a quiz game about UCLA and USC players before they went out to the mound. Our own Serena Winters got all the sights on the field before the Wednesday night game before the Philadelphia Phillies.

Clayton Kershaw took some cuts before the game in preparation for his impending return to the Dodgers. Andre Ethier, who started in left, and Yasiel Puig, who started in right, were also hanging around the cage.

In the actual game, the Dodgers got seven innings and 11 strikeouts from Zack Greinke en route to a 5-2 victory. Hanley Ramirez also hit a home run and Puig tripled.
