Behind three RBIs from Howie Kendrick on Monday night the Los Angeles Dodgers extended their winning streak over the Arizona Diamondbacks to six games. Now the Dodgers look to complete a three-game sweep of the D-Backs and finish their seven-game homestand above .500 at 4-3.

Brett Anderson gets his third look at the Diamondbacks this season, though Wednesday is the first time he won’t be opposed by Chase Anderson in the matchup. The Dodgers’ Anderson has allowed a combined three runs on 10 hits in 12 innings through the first two meetings.

The last time Anderson faced the Diamondbacks, he tossed six scoreless innings at Dodger Stadium, but walked away without a decision. He’s coming off a loss to the St. Louis Cardinals despite pitching well enough to earn a win (7.2 IP, 2 ER, 4 H) and as a result, is 2-4 with a 3.29 ERA, 3.41 FIP and 1.30 WHIP heading into his 12th start of the season.

The Diamondbacks count with Jeremy Hellickson, who’s making his second start against Los Angeles this year. In his May 2 outing, Hellickson had six strikeouts in 5.1 innings but also gave up three runs on six hits, including a two-run home run to Justin Turner in the first inning.

Hellickson has only allowed fewer than two runs in one of his 11 starts this season — back on April 19 when he quieted the San Francisco Giants over 6.2 innings. Overall the right-hander is 4-3 and owns a 4.88 ERA, 4.61 FIP and 1.42 WHIP.
