The Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves 4-3 on their current 10-game road trip after dropping the first two games away from Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers now begin a three-game set with the Arizona Diamondbacks in the final leg of their tour away from Los Angeles.

Entering Monday’s matchup the Dodgers are 7-2 against the Diamondbacks this season, which includes a seven-game winning streak after dropping the first two games. Mike Bolsinger makes a second start against his former team, but Monday’s is the first at Chase Field with the Dodgers.

On the season Bolsinger is 4-2 with a 2.95 ERA in 10 starts. The right-hander picked up a win in a strong outing when he last faced the Diamondbacks on June 8. He allowed two runs over seven innings and struck out a season-high eight batters.

Bolsinger has made three starts at Chase Field in his young career and had varied results. In 22 combined innings pitched, he’s allowed 10 earned runs 27 hits, which includes three home runs. In four total appearances at Chase Field, Bolsinger is 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA.

Making the start for the Diamondbacks is Allen Webster. In three starts this season Webster is 1-1 with a 6.46 ERA. He got roughed up in his last outing, which was at hitter-friendly Coors Field. In 4.1 innings pitched, the 25 year old allowed five runs on six hits and walked two in a no-decision.

Webster shares something in common with Bolsinger in that he is also facing the team that originally drafted him. The Dodgers selected Webster in 18th round of the 2008 draft and he’s yet to not face Los Angeles since being sent to Boston as part of the historic trade in 2012.

Webster will need to be cautious with Adrian Gonzalez, who has tormented Diamondbacks pitchers over his career. Additionally, Gonzalez has the highest batting average for any player at a specific ballpark since 2010 with a .411 batting average at Chase Field. Gonzalez has hit safely in seven of his last eight games, batting .414 with two home runs and four RBIs in that span.
