The Los Angeles Dodgers are finishing up their seven-game road trip Wednesday evening in Colorado. They are looking to go above .500 on the trip as they currently sit at 3-3. The Dodgers have taken two of three from the Rockies in the series and are 9-3 against Colorado so far this season.

Dodgers right-hander Mike Bolsinger takes the mound in the series finale. He has been terrific in five starts this season, going 3-1 with a 1.15 ERA. Bolsinger suffered his first loss of the season in his last start, Friday at St. Louis, despite allowing only two runs in six innings.

Bolsinger finished the month of May with the third-lowest ERA in the Majors at 1.05. He is 1-0 with a 3.27 ERA in two career starts against the Rockies. Starting opposite Bolsinger is Chad Bettis. The 26-year-old is 2-0 with a 2.96 ERA is four starts this season.

Bettis allowed four runs, seven hits and walked four in five innings of a 5-4 loss in his other start against the Dodgers this season. Rookies Alex Guerrero and Joc Pederson have been swinging hot bats for the Dodgers.

Pederson has homered in four straight games, including three home runs that traveled longer than 470 feet, which put his season home run distance average at 428 feet — tops in the Majors. Additionally, Pederson’s 16 home runs this season are the most ever by a Dodger through the first 70 games of their career.

Guerrero, who gets the start in left field Wednesday, hit a grand slam with two outs in the ninth inning Tuesday night to give the Dodgers a 9-8 victory over the Rockies. He has 10 home runs and 25 RBIs in 98 at-bats this season.

Despite the Dodgers bats being cold recently, particularly on the road, the club is on pace to set a Los Angeles record with its Major League-leading .452 slugging percentage, while also topping the big leagues with 73 home runs and a .339 on-base percentage.
