The Dodgers faced the Cardinals on Sunday and were looking to take the series, having split the last two games with St. Louis. Scott Kazmir would get the start today looking for his 9th win of the season with Puig still out of the lineup due to his right hamstring.

The Dodgers would kick off the game with a BANG, putting up 6 runs in the first thanks to a grand slam by Adrian Gonzalez and an RBI single for Kazmir!

The Cardinals would attempt to make a dent in that 6-0 lead by getting a run back in the bottom of the first.

The Dodgers would answer back in the top of the 2nd with help from some of the hottest hitters in July!

The Cardinals would again try and stop the pain by getting back 2 more in the bottom of the 2nd.

The game would be fairly quiet up until the bottom of the 7th where the Cardinals would almost take the game back!

Kenley would come in for the bottom of the 9th and do what Kenley Jansen does! That is Jansen’s 29th save of the season!
