Joc Pederson really got things going as he hit a double, but unfortunately with two runners on base the Dodgers failed to score as Kenta Maeda was at the plate and made the third out to end the inning.

However, what coud have been a run on Joc Pederson’s play was prevented by a fan interference.

The Dodgers offensive continued to struggle as they failed to score in the top of the third inning despite having Utely on base. Part of that was credited to an amazing catch by Rockies’ Daniel Descalso.

But don’t worry, Utley returned the favor as he leaped to catch the last out in the bottom of the third.

Going on to the 4th inning, after Josh Reddick made it on base, Gonzalez hit a single as Reddick made his way to third. Howie Kendrick was up to bat next and hit an RBI single as Reddick scored to put the Dodgers up 1-0.

Later in the inning, the Dodgers had the bases loaded with only one out. Maeda was up to bat again which unfortunetley led to a double play that ended the top of the fourth.

During the bottom of the fourth David Dahl hits a two run homerun to give the Rockies a 2-0 lead.
