Recap: Corey Seager Produces Only Hit in 4-0 Loss to Giants
The Dodgers looked to finish the very important Giants series on Thursday with a win to complete the sweep! Before the game, the Dodgers announced the trading of A.J. Ellis, which must have affected them at least a little bit. Nonetheless, Ross Stripling took the mound in hopes of making the team’s lead in the NL West 4 games.

Unfortunately, this highlights is almost exclusively about the Giants because the Dodgers only produced one hit! In the top of the 3rd, the Giants got on the board with 3 runs thanks to an RBI single and home run.

A groundball hit by Matt Moore handcuffed Justin Turner, and the Dodgers paid for it. Denard Span hit a two-out RBI single. 4-0, Giants.

This game was looking very grim for the Dodgers. They had been no-hit all game by Matt Moore, and with two outs in the bottom of the 9th, Corey Seager came to the plate. Of course, on his bobble head night, he got a single! Not very exciting, but at least he prevented the no-hitter!

FINAL: Giants 4, #Dodgers 0

Like I said earlier, these highlights were not very special because the game was not very special. The Giants one-hit the Dodgers with the best moment in the game being Seager’s single. Friday is a new day, however, and the Cubs are in town! Game time is at 7:10 PM PST so be sure to follow us on Twitter to get the play-by-play! Go Blue!
