Recap: Corey Seager, Yasmani Grandal, and Joc Pederson Homer in 14-3 Win Over Arizona!

The Dodgers suffered a tough 4-2 loss on Saturday that put them 2 games behind the Giants. Today, the Dodgers would like to take the series with Bud Norris getting the start, though things would take a turn for the worst. Yasiel Puig would also make his return to the lineup to face the left hander, Patrick Corbin!

Let’s take a look a the highlights!



Bud Norris would make 13 pithes but would be pulled due to tightness in his back. Ross Stripling would get the call to replace him!

Arizona would get to Stripling early scoring a run in the top of the first.

Stripling would settle in as would Corbin till the 4th inning. The Diamondbacks would add 2 to their lead in the top of the 4th.

The Dodgers would come back strong in the bottom of the 4th and tie the game up at 3!

The Dodgers would then take the lead in the bottom of the 5th thanks to a couple of doubles by Justin Turner and Yasiel Puig!

The Dodgers would continue their terror into the bottom of the 6th with another 4 runs thanks to an RBI single by Turner and a 3-run shot by Grandal!

Do you think the Dodgers were done? If you did, you’re wrong! Corey Seager would flex some muscle and follow up Yaz with a 3-run shot of his own!

Alright, but that has to be it for the offense, right? Wrong again! They would tack 3 more in the bottom of the 8th with a 2-run shot by Joc Pederson!

J.P. Howell would come get the call in the top of the 9th to close things out for the boys in blue and he would do just that! Final score: 14-3!
