Dodgers Win: The Bats Come Alive in 7-4 Victory Over Diamondbacks

Wow, just wow! Tuesday’s matchup against the Diamondbacks was filled with every emotion in the books, from fear of another injury to excitement from the four home runs off of Dodgers bats. What a game, but don’t worry if you missed it! We got you covered.

The Dodgers were shut down through the first four innings and trailed 2-0 heading into the top of the 5th.

The bats then came alive as Joc Pederson blasted a solo shot to right field and Chase Utley hit a two run single up the middle!

The Diamondbacks would answer in the bottom of the 5th and get one back, tying the score at 3… but not for long!

Then fear struck all of our hearts as Kenta Maeda went down after taking a line drive to the shin, though thankfully x-rays came back negative.

After Maeda’s terrifying exit, the Diamondbacks would find a way to get one back and cut the lead to 5-4. Do you think the Dodgers’ offense is done? No? You guessed right! Chase Utley would answer in the top of the 7th with a two-run homer!

Kenley enters the game and does what Kenley does. Jansen makes his 160th save, now just one save shy of tying Gagne for the most saves by a closer in Dodgers blue.

Tune into Wednesday’s game and watch probable pitchers Clayton Kershaw and Patrick Corbin battle it out at 12:40 PM PST. Go Dodgers!
