Rumors: Dodgers Are Most Aggressive Team for Twins’ Brian Dozier
The Dodgers aren’t going to count on another surprise season by Chase Utley and with their off-season trade of Howie Kendrick, the Dodgers need to find help for the upcoming season.
Starting with the rumors for the Detroit Tigers’ Ian Kinsler, which is complicated by his no-trade clause, his desire for a contract extension and the new CBA that ties the Dodgers hands financially, the Dodgers have been “aggressively” looking at the Twins’ Brian Dozier.
The LA #Dodgers are the most aggressive team in trade talks with the #Twins for 2B Brian Dozier, and have now piqued Minnesota's interest.

The 29 year old is looking to build up on his surprising All-Star season:
- Batted .268 | .340 | .546
- 42 Homeruns
- 99 RBI
- 35 Doubles
Based on Dozier’s defensive skills, which are average at best, the Dodgers are willing to look past this as long as Dozier can produce at the plate. With only $15 million due to him over the course of the next two seasons, let’s see if the Dodgers have the assets to make this trade happen despite the rumors of the Twins’ high asking price.
