Song: Rapper Ice Cube Comes Out With Dodgers Playoff Anthem

As he’s done for several Laker playoff runs, rapper Ice Cube came out with a Dodger playoff anthem. The song dropped before the Dodgers started their series with the Cardinals, but it serves as a pump up for Game 3 tomorrow night.

Ice Cube mentions Yasiel Puig, “popping bubbly with Vin Scully” and his good friend Magic Johnson as the Dodgers are pursuing their first World Series title since 1988.

Things haven’t gone as planned for the Dodgers as their in an 0-2 series hole and could potentially be without Hanley Ramirez and Andre Ethier in Game 3 tomorrow night. Regardless, it’s another reminder about how great the 2013 season has been as the song plays over the beat by Drake, “Started From the Bottom”.

Here’s the unofficial Dodger anthem and hopefully it’ll serve as another reminder that overcoming the series deficit is possible:

  1. Just because you mention the players, the legends and the team doesn’t make it an automatic hit. If this is your idea of “Dodger Playoff Anthem”, TRY AGAIN!!
