The Los Angeles Dodgers offense was thought to have less power this season after the losses of Matt Kemp and Hanley Ramirez, yet the team leads the entire Cactus League in home runs heading into Thursday’s matchup with the Chicago White Sox.

Yasiel Puig added to that home run total in the second inning with a two-run home run, his second in as many days. The Dodgers led 6-1 through five innings. In the top of the sixth, Clayton Kershaw led off with a single to bring up shortstop Jimmy Rollins. The 36-year-old deposited right-hander Daniel Webb’s pitch over the wall in right field for a two-run home run.

The home run gave the Dodgers an 8-1 lead and in line for another victory. For Rollins, it was his first home run of the spring. Heading into the game, the long-time Philadelphia Phillie was hitting .316 with six extra-base hits.
