Mike Bolsinger was a bit of a revelation for the Dodgers last year, but couldn’t find the same success this season and has spent most his time in the minors.

Chavez began his career as a reliever but made the transition to starter a few seasons ago while he was a member of the Oakland A’s, who of course, the Dodgers completed a trade with earlier today.

This season in 41.1 innings, Chavez has an ERA of 4.57 and a WHIP of 1.28 to go along with 42 K’s. His best season came in 2014 where he was 8-8 with an ERA of 3.45 in 21 starts.

The Dodgers added some much needed help to their bullpen, but the jury is still out on how fans like the trades the Dodgers made.
