Tweets Of The Night: Adrian Gonzalez, Yasiel Puig Star in 9-2 Win
After a rare off the day, the Dodgers were back at Chavez Ravine tonight to begin a three-game series with the San Diego Padres. The Dodgers won two of three from the Cubs and looked to beat up on the lowly Friars.
Hyun-Jin Ryu was on the mound tonight and while he hasn’t faced the Padres all season, he’s looking to build on his strong record at Dodger Stadium. This season, Ryu is 6-2 with a sub 2.30 ERA at home and he faced former Dodger, Eric Stults.
Stults tossed seven innings allowing two runs on June 3, but was the tough luck loser 2-1. The Dodgers have 29 games left coming into tonight and 26 of those will be against NL West foes.
While the Dodgers should win the series handily, the Padres always like to give them a tough time so let’s check out the tweets of the night.

Give credit where it's due: Smart baserunning move by Yasiel Puig to avoid the ground ball, get back to second base, likely cause the error.

Puig's first AB since benching is single up the middle. #Dodgers
