Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Beat Phillies 4-0, 41-8 Streak
The Dodgers were back on the road again as they began a seven-game road trip through Philadelphia and Miami before they end the season with the NL West.
Zack Greinke was on the mound for the Dodgers as they’re 15-4 in his starts this season and Greinke has a 1.66 ERA in his last seven starts. Meanwhile, the Phillies began a new era this afternoon after they dismissed manager Charlie Manuel and named former Cubs Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg the new skipper.
Ace Cliff Lee was on the mound and in the past he’s been a thorn in the Dodgers side as he has a 1.40 career ERA against the Boys in Blue.
Let’s take a look at what happened tonight.
FINAL: Dodgers 4, Phillies 0. The Dodgers are 41-8 in their last 49 games and have a 8.5 game lead atop the NL West.
