Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Swept By Reds, Losing Streak At Four
The Dodgers rode a three-game losing streak into tonight’s game against the Reds as ace Clayton Kershaw tried to end the streak against Homer Bailey.
Kershaw beat the Reds in his only start this season and after two straight one-run losses, the Dodgers could use a long outing from the NL Cy Young award hopeful.
Meanwhile, Bailey lost his only start against the Dodgers this season and hadn’t allowed more than three runs in a start since the middle of August. After tonight’s game, the Dodgers will play their remaining games within the NL West and with seven games in 10 days against the Diamondbacks, they can’t take their foot off the gas.
With a long flight home tonight and another game tomorrow, a “happy flight” is in order for the Dodgers. Here are the tweets of the night.
