Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Waste Chances, Fall To Cards 3-2

The Dodgers haven’t been to the World Series in 25 years and the only thing standing in their way are the St. Louis Cardinals. The two historic franchises squared off tonight in St.Louis for Game 1 of the NLCS. The Dodgers are coming off a 3-1 series victory against the Atlanta Braves and are now in St. Louis hoping to steal home field advantage from the Cardinals.

On the mound tonight was Zack Greinke and he was looking to give the Dodgers the 1-0 series lead. Greinke last pitched in Game 2 of the NLDS and went six innings with two earned runs and allowed four hits.

On the mound for the Cardinals was 25-year-old right hander, Joe Kelly. He has minimal experience as a starter with only 31 starts in a span of two seasons. Kelly’s last start was in the NLDS against the Pirates and he went 5.1 innings with two earned runs and allowed five hits. The Cardinals had the same lineup as in the NLDS, however; the Dodgers will now have Andre Ethier in center field and batting seventh.

Let’s get to the tweets of the night.
