VIDEO: A.J. Ellis Makes Appearance On MLB Network’s Intentional Talk

Prior to the Los Angeles Dodgers’ game on Thursday where they were going for the three-game sweep of the New York Mets, A.J. Ellis took time to visit with Chris Rose and Kevin Millar, hosts of Intentional Talk on MLB Network.

Among the topics discussed was Ellis’ visit on the show last season, which included then-Dodger Michael Young playfully interjecting during the interview. Ellis then reflected on his time in the minors for his rehab stint as he was recovering from surgery to repair his meniscus.

According to the 33-year-old catcher, he enjoyed being around the group of players who are fighting to make it to the big league level and Ellis treated the Albuquerque Isotopes to a “nice spread” at P.F. Changs.

Ellis then gave his opinion on manager Don Mattingly’s recent guest appearance on the Tonight Show Staring Jimmy Fallon and razed his manager for being “Hollywood.”

During the interview, Ellis showed a sense of humor that’s led to comedic parody with Clayton Kershaw of ‘Between Two Ferns.’
