VIDEO: Clayton Kershaw Goes First To Third On Dee Gordon’s Single

[new_royalslider id=”308″] The Los Angeles Dodgers were once again coming off a loss when they handed the ball to Clayton Kershaw and counted on their ace to get them back in the win column.

As he’s done countless times this season and in his career, Kershaw picked up his team and led them to a win with another dominant outing. However, Tuesday night Kershaw also helped jumpstart an offense that’s been stifled as of late.

With both teams scoreless, Kershaw hit a leadoff single in the fifth inning, then looked more of a position player than pitcher as he went first to third on Dee Gordon’s chopper up the middle.

Kershaw’s aggressive baserunning drew a throw from Bryce Harper, which allowed Gordon to slide in safely at second base. Both Kershaw and Gordon wound up scoring in the inning and the Dodgers never looked back as they defeated the Washington Nationals, 4-1.
