VIDEO: Cleveland Indians Turn Triple Play Against Los Angeles Dodgers

After a pitcher’s duel Monday night, there was plenty of scoring Tuesday from both the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Indians jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning and the Dodgers answered right back with an Adrian Gonzalez two-run home run in the bottom half of the inning. In the fourth, the Dodgers trailed 5-3 and had runners on the corners with none out.

Gonzalez was at the plate to face left-handed reliever Kyle Crockett, who had just relieved Indians starter Justin Masterson. On a 1-2 count, Gonzalez lined out to left field and Dee Gordon was thrown out at home as he attempted to tag on the play.

After showing the ball to the home plate umpire, Indians catcher Yan Gomes then threw down to second to nail Yasiel Puig trying to advance 90 feet.
