Video: Dodgers’ Juan Uribe Victim Of Hidden Ball Trick By Rays

Everything was firing on all cylinders for the Dodgers this afternoon against the Rays as first baseman Adrian Gonzalez belted a two-run home run in the first inning.

Nick Punto, who is filling in for Hanley Ramirez at short, also has two RBIs on the afternoon as the Dodgers had a 4-0 lead through three innings.



In the fourth inning, the Dodgers loaded the bases with three singles as A.J. Ellis sent a fly ball to center. Rays outfielder Wil Myers threw home as Juan Uribe and Skip Schumaker moved up to second and third.

Once on third, for some reason, Uribe was off the bag and the Rays pulled the old “hidden ball” trick on him. While there were some bonehead plays last night, this one was pretty bad today.
