Video: Dodgers Owner Magic Johnson Comments On Dodgers Partying

The Dodgers looked absolutely flat last night as the offense was non-existent but for Juan Uribe as they lost their second consecutive game for the first time in two months.

Prior to last night’s game, it was reported that Yasiel Puig, Carl Crawford and Matt Kemp were seen partying the night before with Heat forward LeBron James. It’s easy to say the partying had something to do with the performance on the field as Puig went hitless while Crawford had his lone hit come when the game was out of reach.

Manager Don Mattingly said it wasn’t an issue and people with the Dodgers didn’t seem too concerned that the outfield trio was out late at a club. However, Dodgers owner Magic Johnson, known for partying back in his day as a player, was asked about the situation and if any disciplinary action would follow.

With the Dodgers in first place and having a 7.5 game lead in the division, Magic didn’t sound too concerned with his star players enjoying the moment and having some fun.

Here’s what he told TMZ:
