Video: Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig Discusses Win Over Giants Last Night

Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig hadn’t introduced himself to the hated San Francisco Giants before last night’s game and he did so in styling fashion.

In his first at-bat, Puig smacked a solo home run to right field off Giants lefty Madison Bumgarner and drove-in the game-winning run with an RBI single in the eighth inning.



In three weeks with the Dodgers, Puig has given Dodgers fans everywhere hope that a second half playoff run is possible as he’s played his way into a starting role for the rest of this season and seasons to come.

Puig has seven home runs and 14 RBIs in 20 games and has shown all five of his tools with his incredible throws, great catches, blazing speed, incredible power and hitting for average.

After last night’s win, Puig spoke to ESPN’s Tim Kurkjian about his torrid start and beating the Giants for the first time:
