Video: Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig Surprises Kids At Local Little League
While the Los Angeles Dodgers aren’t playing in the World Series, star outfielder Yasiel Puig is still keeping busy near Dodger Stadium and surprised a little league team Tuesday night.
Puig stopped by an Elysian Park little league and surprised a group of eight-year old kids by partaking in their practice. As the kids went through practice, Puig threw batting practice, signed autographs and posed for pictures for more than 30 minutes.
Called up on June 3, Puig ignited a slumping Dodger team and was a main reason why they won 92 games and advanced to Game 6 of the NLCS. The Dodgers don’t seem to have a plan for Puig in the offseason as Ned Colletti said he won’t play winter ball as of now as they’re counting on him to progress even more next season.
This is TOTALLY AWESOME of Yasiel Puig to spend some time with these Boys…. Just maybe
Guggenheim Baseball could work some Magic Johnson, MAGIC on Elysian Park for these kids to make it their FIELD of DREAMS…. HINT HINT !!!!!
