With an off day Monday ahead of beginning a three-game series with the New York Mets on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers collectively made the rounds in the Big Apple. Yasiel Puig stopped by the MLB Fan Cave to pose for pictures and dance with fans, and Drew Butera and Dee Gordon played dodgeball with elementary school-aged children, which included Butera

Manager Don Mattingly and former New York Yankee made use of his free time by making an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Mattingly played 14 seasons with the Yankees and during his pinstripe days, had a recognizable mustache that he’s since gone away with in his managerial career.

Fallon claimed to have Mattingly’s mustache on hand and carefully reunited the manager with the facial hair for a brief moment. The visit was a momentary break in what’s been an up and down season for the Dodgers that’s again come with the challenge for Mattingly to juggle a crowded outfield.
