Video: Matt Kemp Talks Trade Rumors, Love Life And Ankle Surgery

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp has been in the spotlight for most of the off-season due to constant rumors about him being traded. At the Winter Meetings, Kemp’s agent Dave Stewart and Dodgers GM Ned Colletti had a private conversation about the Dodgers not trading the 29-year-old outfielder this winter.

However, Kemp’s making headlines now for the wrong reasons due to his personal life and possible relationship with reality TV star Khloe Kardashian. Rumors started to spread about the two dating, but it was reported yesterday that they’re just “friends”.

Dodger fans are worried that dating another celebrity will have a negative effect on Kemp, who dated pop-star Rihanna and had one of his worst seasons in 2010.

Yesterday, a camera caught up with Kemp who was walking down the street, without a walking boot and was asked about everything going on this off-season. Kemp seemed to be in good spirits talking about his ankle and now that he’s likely to stay with the Dodgers, but was very tight-lipped when it came to his personal life.
