VIDEO: Ned Colletti, Don Mattingly Accept ALS Challenge

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ loss on Sunday resulted in them being swept by the Milwaukee Brewers after dropping two of three to the same team one week ago.

Despite the loss, the members of the Dodgers took a moment to participate in and contribute to raising awareness for ALS research.

General manager Ned Colletti was challenged by Los Angeles Kings coach Darryl Sutter and the Dodger GM passed it along to manager Don Mattingly, AM 570’s Petros and Money, and former Dodger and current SportsNet LA analyst, Orel Hershiser.

Mattingly had the honor of dumping the water on Colletti, which contained large chunks of ice that’s inauspiciously been missing in several videos of other celebrities and athletes participating:

Colletti then returned the favor on Mattingly, though the height difference made for somewhat of a difficult situation:

Colletti and Mattingly join Yasiel Puig and Dee Gordon, among others who have accepted the challenge. Donations can be made online at the ALS Association’s official website.
