VIDEO: Puig Robs Josh Hamilton With Leaping Catch At Wall

Since being moved to center field, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has already given the team some of the best defense at the position this season.

On Wednesday night’s game in Anaheim, Puig threw out Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim catcher Hank Conger at third base to potentially take away a run in an eventual 2-1 victory.

Puig once again saved some runs on Thursday with the Dodgers up 4-0 in the sixth inning. With runners on second and third, and two outs, Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton hit a deep fly ball to left-center field that Puig seemed to have to run forever for and made a leaping catch at the wall. The play robbed the Angels of at least two runs and sent the Dodger fans in Anaheim into a frenzy.
