Video: Vin Scully Named Grand Marshal For 2014 Tournament Of Roses

It’s been a busy year for Dodgers Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully as he announced he was coming back for one more season, was honored with a bobble head and today was named grand marshal of the 2014 Tournament of Roses Parade.

The Rose Parade takes place on January 1 and it’ll be the first time since 2008 that Scully is apart of the New Year’s day parade.

In such a memorable season for himself and the Dodgers, Vin has been right in the thick of it as he’s given rookie phenom Yasiel Puig the nickname of “Wild Horse” and seems to be so happy to be with a historic team.

Here’s video of Vin accepting the position and talking about how special the city of Los Angeles has meant to him personally and for his entire career.
