Vin Scully News: Broadcaster’s Bobblehead Night Kicks Off His Final Week
Unfortunately for Dodger and baseball fans alike, the clock is ticking down on Vin Scully’s career. The Dodgers are honoring the longtime voice of the Dodgers by having a number promotions until Vin calls his final out.
Tonight’s game is special for two reasons. First, the Dodgers host the Giants and have a chance to dig an even bigger hole for them. And secondly because it’s Vin Scully bobblehead night.

This isn’t the only way the Dodgers plan recognizing Scully’s 67 years of service as the team’s broadcaster this week. Friday is “Vin Scully Appreciation Night,” and marks the first night of what the Dodgers are calling “Vin Scully Weekend.”
Dodgers News: Yasiel Puig and Madison Bumgarner Square OffOn The Dan Patrick Show on Monday, Scully said that the fans will be receiving a letter of dedication from the voice of baseball himself starting on Friday, September 23rd. He also mentioned that he has a surprise saved up for his last day at Dodger Stadium that will be “quite a shock.”
