Vin Scully News: Mets Manager Terry Collins Pays Vin Surprise Visit In Press box
Vin Scully has been one of the biggest attractions that the Dodgers have had for quite some time. But in this, his final season in the booth, the national media is in an absolute frenzy trying to get coverage on the legendary broadcaster.
But evidently it’s not only the media that is trying to get face time with Mr. Scully. Today, Met’s manager Terry Collins made a trek up to the Dodger’s press box that has been appropriately renamed, “The Vin Scully Press box.”

Terry Collins shared his fondest memories of Vin with the LA Times:
Dodgers Social: Magic Johnson Has Fun With Trayce And The Thompsons“He’s one of the finest human beings on the face of the earth, to me. Who he is, and he treats you like you’re something special, When he’s the one who’s special.”
There will surely be many more intentional farewells shared with Vin this season as Vin doesn’t travel outside of Dodgers Stadium much anymore. For many opposing managers and players, trips to Dodgers Stadium will be the last chance to meet the icon.
