Over the next 10 days (the final ones in which you can vote for All Stars) we will be moving a campaign to make sure that our right-fielder and fan favorite Andre Ethier makes it to the All Star Game on July 10 in Kansas City.
For those who would like some help on how to vote for the Dodger players, follow this link.
Andre is not just an impressive figure on the field, but also off of it. As an adult I welcome Ethier’s efforts to pave the way for the future of not just baseball, but all of sports. He has demonstrated an ability to work hard despite the criticisms of all the naysayers.
Ethier signed a 5-year/$85 million contract extension to remain a Dodger until 2017.
The visit in the above video was made by Andre to the Union Rescue Mission a few weeks ago, when Ethier grilled 1,000 Dodger Dogs which were donated for meal services that day.
This marked the fifth consecutive year that Ethier participated in the event, and reminds us citizens of the United States that there are many people who are less fortunate than we are, many of whom do not have the opportunity to live a normal life the way that several of us can.
In the All Star Game will be 60 players who are representing the great name of Major League Baseball. Who better to fulfill one of those spots than Ethier?
