Los Angeles Dodgers’ rookie phenom Cody Bellinger mashed his 30th home run of 2017 against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night.

The home run was nearly a mirror image of his 29th home run that he hit on Tuesday night against Lucas Sims.

The home run put the Dodgers on the board for what would end in a 5-3 defeat to the Atlanta Braves.

Cody Bellinger and Aaron Judge have combined to become just the eighth pair of rookies to reach the 30-HR mark in the same season. Both could easily hit 40 as they have two more months of the regular season left to play.

Cody Bellinger reached the 30-HR mark in just his 87th game, making him the third-fastest to do it since the 1900 season. He trails only Rudy York (79) and Mark McGwire (84) for the quickest to hit the mark.

The Dodgers and Braves face off in game three of the series on Thursday evening. Alex Wood is on the bump for Los Angeles.
