Dodgers News: Corey Seager Missing From the Top-5 All-Star Shortstops

Los Angeles Dodger fans couldn’t be more excited about first baseman Adrian Gonzalez landing in third place for the 2016 MLB All-Star Game, however fans are surprised Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is not even in the top 5 for the shortstops category.

The latest National League balloting update for the 2016 MLB All-Star Game was announced via MLB Communications on twitter.



Considering Seager’s incredible stats for the month of May, Fans are confused why the young shortstop hasn’t secured a spot in the top 5 slots. Check out his numbers below.

With those kind of stats how can Seagar not be among the top 5 shortstops? Fans took to twitter to address the situation.

As of late, Seagar has proven his worthiness of an all-star position. According to Dodger Insider, Seager is continuing to make history.

Most recently Seager helped the Dodgers defeat the Atlanta Braves 4-2 with 3 solo homers making that 12 home runs for the season.
