A Letter to Dodgers Nation

Dear Dodgers Nation,

Hey guys! So big changes have happened and I’m excited to announce that I have accepted the role of becoming DodgersNation.com Senior Editor and Media Director.

Fancy right?

Most of you guys might know me from our YouTube channel DodgersNation-TV. I’ve loved connecting with you guys on there and bringing you Dodgers news.

With this new opportunity I’m eager to take on the challenge and connect with all of you Dodger fanatics that have supported us since the beginning.

I believe I’ve racked up enough hours working for USC, NFL Network, Time Warner Cable SportsNet (No I don’t know anything about the Dodgers TV-deal), to do a great job with DodgersNation.com and the future sports websites we have in the works.

In all honesty, I’m not really good at intro’s via internet. I’m more of a people person, talk to you while we sit in jury duty, crack jokes as we wait in a long line kind of person.

Change is scary. Trying to please over a bazillion Dodgers fans is scarier. I know you can get Dodgers news anywhere, and although we have you covered here I want this to be for the fans. Seeing the game, the team from your point of view.

Do you go to a lot of Dodgers games and take pictures? Have built up frustration you want to release in an opinion piece? For those who don’t know we do have opportunities for you to get involved on our contribute page.

Just like our YouTube page I’m starting at ground zero with you guys, but it all honesty I’m cool with that.

Starting at ground zero is fun because you meet so many amazing people on the way to the top. And the love I’ve received from Dodgers Nation so far is pretty overwhelming.

Side story, working the Vin Scully Avenue event I was asked to take a picture. Sure no problem. Grab the cam. They say, “No with you in it”.

Wait what? Cheese.

Who am I, but just a Dodgers fan, Lakers fan, USC fan and graduate.  Just a Salvadorian girl, youngest of 4 kids with two parents who show everyone their daughter is on YouTube. Yes, I have those parents.

But now I have all of you and supporters like Pantone 294! To my writers I’m excited to see where this goes, to Gary Lee thank you for the opportunity and to the fans lets continue to build this community of loyal Dodger fans.

Love,

Elisa
