Dodger News: Dodgers Celebration Criticized by John McCain

Hey DodgersNation I’m Cyrus Palizban here with your Dodgers update. The Dodgers wrapped up with 2013 NL West Division last night with a 7-6 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field, making it the first time they’ve won the NL West since 209. However they’re post-game celebration has created quite a buzz already.

The Dodgers celebrated in the locker room with a champagne showers, and then followed that by running across the field, jumping into a pool and continuing  their celebration. While this was all fun for the players, many in the media were surprised to see the teams celebration.

While talk show hosts, and journalists made a story out of it, the celebration was not appreciated by one of the biggest Diamondback fans, Arizona senator John McCain. Senator McCain called the Dodgers celebration a classless act by a bunch of overpaid spoiled brats.Unfortunately for McCain, The Diamondback will have to wait at least a year to match anything the Dodgers.

With the Dodgers winning the division, we wanted to know your thoughts on the being NL  West Champs! Let us know in the comments below and don’t forget to subscribe to our DodgersNation Media YouTube channel.
