Dodgers 2020 Grades: Urías, Graterol, Treinen, Kenley Jansen, Joe Kelly and the LA Bullpen
After winning their first World Series title in 32-years, the Los Angeles Dodgers season is now complete! Now it’s time to start handing out grades for the 2020 season and assessing the best from the team, and who should stay after class for extra work.
Note: these grades include the regular season and postseason.
First up, the Dodgers had one of the best bullpens in baseball this season. From the charisma and flamethrowing heat of Brusdar Graterol to the at times resurgent Kenley Jansen and everyone in between. The bullpen got it done in 2020.
Here are our grades for the Dodger relievers for the 2020 season:

- A = Elite
- B = Baller
- C = Average
- D = Dude Get It Together
- F = Fail

B+ They were Elite most of the year. I mark them down a little because of Jansen. He was erratic at the end and I would not trust him to close in 2021 and the Dodgers are stuck with him this next year. The young arms Urias, May, Gonsolin,Gonzalez, Graterol etc saved them in the playoffs
Why not grade them individually with May & Graterol near the top and Kelly mired in the bilge water at the bottom. Jansen should get the “get it together” grade for sure. Urias was so good at the end of the year he deserves a starting spot. The rest of the bullpen are extras.
Since Dodgers lead the NL in bully ERA you must give them an A.
But that is based on ERA..Jansen and Trenien our CL and SU were average at best. They could not be trusted in playoffs.
The young arms saved us this year. Thank goodness Jansen is gone after next year..maybe he can be a SU..we need a solid CL ..a key FA to plug until Graterol is capable. He needs a 2 seam and a 4 seam FB, and have a higher Krate to become a CL.
