Today, Major League Baseball announced the 2022 regular season schedule for the league. In the case of the Dodgers, LA’s 162 game slate opens on March 31st at home at Dodger Stadium against the Colorado Rockies.
Other notes include the Dodgers taking on the AL Central in interleague play and the MLB All-Star game coming to Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 19.
LA will play the Padres and Giants 19 times each in 2022, but mostly toward the end of the season.
Additionally, the Dodgers will be home for most holiday games, hosting the Pirates on Memorial Day (May 30), the Cleveland Guardians on Father’s Day (June 19), the Rockies on the 4th of July, and the Giants on Labor Day (Sept. 5). The team will also be home for Jackie Robinson Day against the Reds on April 15th.
