Dodgers: Andrew Heaney Dominates in Possible Final Rehab Start

The Dodgers should be getting back some help in their starting rotation very soon. While they did lose Walker Buehler to an injury this weekend, they also got Clayton Kershaw back onto the mound. And they could be adding another southpaw in the next week.

Andrew Heaney just threw what could be his final rehab start this week. He tossed 5 shutout innings on Tuesday night and struck out 9 batters while allowing 1 walk. If the Dodgers want him to pitch this weekend against the Guardians, the timeline would add up to make that happen.

Heaney could pitch for the Dodgers on Sunday afternoon if they feel he is ready. He went down after 2 starts with a shoulder issue that proved to be more troublesome than initially thought. In those 2 starts though, he was phenomenal.
