Dodgers: Andrew Heaney, Gavin Lux Injury Update, How Will They Fill the Rotation?

The Dodgers have been very fortunate to avoid injuries early on in the year. After a season full of guys hitting the injured list in 2021, they’ll take any sort of good luck that they can get. But they did have to make their first move this week, sending Andrew Heaney to the IL with a shoulder issue.

They also had to hold Gavin Lux out of some games against the Braves. Lux’s back tightened up on him and they were not able to get him back into games. But there does seem to be some hope that he will be available soon.

Who knows if the same can be said for Blake Treinen, who had an issue with his arm and did not pitch in the Braves series at all.

But the biggest question right now is with Andrew Heaney. Since the Dodgers seemingly turned his career around, the lefty hurler will be huge to the team’s success this year. Getting his starts in throughout the year will be huge.
