Dodgers @ Angels: Wood vs. Bundy, Virtual Spring Training Game March 22, 2020

It’s time for Sunday evening “baseball”! And don’t worry… there’s no Alex Rodriguez here! Today the Los Angeles Dodgers head to virtual Anaheim for the start of the three-game freeway series against the Angels. On the bump, Alex Wood (0-1, 6.35 ERA) faces offseason trade acquisition Dylan Bundy (3-1, 1.59 ERA).

Wood makes his third and final start — his first virtual start — of the spring for LA. Manager Dave Roberts already named him as the fifth starter in the rotation, and that will stand despite his high spring ERA. The 29-year-old is back for his second tour of duty with the Dodgers after re-signing in the offseason.

For Anaheim, Dylan Bundy is making his fifth start (first virtual) of the spring. He’s coming off another rough season with Baltimore. He’s 7 games under .500 in his career with a less than stellar 4.67 ERA.
