Dodgers: Clayton Kershaw Wants to See a Parade With the Lakers After the Pandemic

The Dodgers are your 2020 World Series Champions. I’m going to keep saying that until it finally feels real to write it, even weeks after it already happened. But fans in Los Angeles were also rewarded with a Lakers NBA championship, something we’ve been hoping for since 2010.

The Dodgers and Lakers players have all talked about getting to celebrate with the fans of Los Angeles since taking home their titles in October. LeBron James and Cody Bellinger had even floated the idea over social media of having a combined parade for the two teams as soon as possible.

The Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw loves the idea when it is safe to do so. Kershaw made an appearance on The Ellen Show this month and briefly talked about how much he would like to see a parade happen with the two teams.

Oh man, it’s just the best. An even the Lakers won too, I was saying whenever it’s safe to do so, a Laker/Dodger parade in LA, that would be awesome. We should do that together.

Unfortunately, the Dodgers and Lakers will likely have to wait quite a while based on the way things are going. Most counties in Southern California are trending in the wrong direction in terms of their ability to reopen amid coronavirus concerns. But you can bet when it is safe, Los Angeles is going to party.
