Dodgers: Clayton Kershaw’s Wholesome Moment on the Mound Following Game 4

For the first time in a VERY long time, the Dodgers will play for a World Series trophy without Clayton Kershaw on the roster. The veteran southpaw went through his fair share of arm issues this year culminating in an early exit in his last start of the year.

And even though it seems that he will be able to avoid major surgery, there will be no Kershaw Day in the Dodgers postseason. But you can bet that the longtime face of the franchise will be there every step of the way to be their biggest supporter in October.

The Dodgers Game 4 win in Los Angeles his week was the perfect example of it. Kershaw was in on every play banging on the dugout railing and talking with guys the entire game. But it was after the win that a fan caught the best moment.

Clayton Kershaw loves the game of baseball, and he clearly misses being in the action. Dodgers fans certainly miss him. And while he won’t get his chance to prove himself once again in October baseball in 2021, we’re hoping for many more chances in the future.

  1. Like all Dodger fans I hope Kershaw returns next year and ends his career as a Dodger while doing a Tom Brady imitation, but if he chooses to become a Ranger I know Dodger fans will wish him good luck and hope for his success. We were very lucky to have him for as long as whatever time we did.

    1. Even if CK returns, the team will look a bit different next year, as not all free agents will be retained. Many feel Seager goes to the Yankees, his favorite team growing as a kid.
